During the pandemic period, a myriad of changes have taken place in many areas, including health care, due to the need to adapt the realities of life to new, unprecedented conditions. The process of digitalization has definitely gained momentum, due to the need to reduce direct human contact, including in the health sector. Society has had to turn to digital solutions. Most ICT solutions have entered everyday use, both at the insistence of patients, as well as to preserve the continuity of therapy or medical care itself. Nowadays, on a daily basis, many Poles, regardless of age groups, use the digitized circulation of medical records, the so-called EDM, or the popular version of the paper prescription in electronic form, the so-called E-prescription.
